About the club

Our story

Founded in 2020 by a group of friends who believed football should be for everyone. Five seasons later we're one of Lancashire's most active inclusive clubs.

Mission

To make organised football open, welcoming and enjoyable for anyone in Blackburn — regardless of ability, background, faith, gender or income. We run senior open-age teams, weekly training, community coaching and matchday events for everyone.

Vision

A town where every person who wants to play football has a team to play for, a coach who believes in them, and a community to celebrate with them — win, lose or draw.

Non-negotiable

Inclusion statement

Blackburn Town Inclusion FC is an anti-racist, anti-discrimination club. Discrimination of any kind — on the basis of race, religion, gender identity, sexuality, disability or otherwise — has no place at our club and will not be tolerated on or off the pitch. Everyone who steps into our club is entitled to feel safe, respected and heard.

Our values

Inclusion first

Everyone is welcome, and we design everything we do to keep it that way.

Community rooted

We are of and for Blackburn. Volunteers built us, supporters sustain us.

Wellbeing focused

Football is a vehicle for physical and mental health, not just three points.

Compete with pride

We play to win, always with respect and never at any cost.

Progress together

We invest in coaching, facilities and people so the club improves every season.

Partnership minded

Great things happen when we work with sponsors, schools and other clubs.

Committee & coaches

The people who make it happen.
